This kit completely replaces the stock restrictive rubber hose between the intercooler and throttle body with a new 2.5" custom mandrel bent aluminum tube, with your choice of Hks, TurboXs, or Greddy flange, 4 ply silicone hose connectors, all hose necessary hose clamps, and one final key ingredient: a new temperature sensor that threads into the UHP.

Another benefit of this uppipe, you will no longer have the problem of pressure leaks around the stock grommet and pressure sensor. Also this uppipe has a threaded sensor that won't blow out under high boost applications. To this date, this remains the only hard pipe setup that fits perfectly and does not leak boost. These units also feature an additional threaded bung that can be used for adding water injection or a meth kit. If you will not be using either of these options, simply leave the supplied plug in place.
This upper hard pipe, or cold side pipe comes with the threaded temp sensor. There is no need to purchase an additional sensor. This verson 2 sensor kit uses an OEM sensor so you will no longer need to hardwire in the temp sensor.
Lastly, if you dont already have one, you'll need to install a blow of valve block off plate to block off the stock diverter valve flange. This is because you wont need the stock diverter valve once you have a new blow off valve installed! We offer this piece with or without a block off plate.

Note: This Upper Hard Pipe will NOT work with the OEM Air Box or the AEM Short Ram Intake because the bov sits fairly high and is placed where the air box and short ram are.
