Clutch Masters has introduced a light weight Flywheel for the 2013-16 Dodge Dart. Originally back around 2015, Clutchmasters released a aluminum flywheel, but in the early 2020's they released a steel lightweight flywheel.

Looking for faster throttle response without compromising any bottom end torque? The aluminum flywheel weighs 14lbs less then the Dual Mass OEM flywheel. The steel flywheel weighs about 8 lbs less than the OEM dual mass flywheel.

Instead of having a Dual mass flywheel it is now a Single mass which also help shave weight and rotational mass allowing for the motor to spin even more freely!

The OEM dual mass flywheel is designed to be supremely quiet, and because of its mechanical clutch type engagement, it can allow for a smoother engagement of the clutch, but its very heavy and it slows the operation of the engine/car. Because of the mechanical engagement of the flywheel, it can fail over time. The aluminum lightweight flywheel on the other hand is a solid disc, with no moving parts so it cannot fail like a dual mass.

The aluminum lightweight flywheel, will increase performance and rpm response noticeably, and when driving you will not notice any difference, but with the clutch disengaged at idle it will be loud. If you depress the clutch, noise will be minimal.

The steel flywheel on the other hand, is heavier, and less noisy than the aluminum flywheel.

Aluminum flywheel - single mass, lightest for performance, but noisy

Steel flywheel - single mass, still lighter than stock, less noisy.

Not only does the flywheel bolt up to the Clutch Masters Clutch, it can also be used on the OEM Clutch as well.
