The Clutch Masters Stage III Clutch with Aluminum Flywheel replaces the 40 lb OEM dual mass unit with a much lighter 24 lb aluminum unit! Throttle response is greatly improved along with more holding power! This is a great street clutch with good daily driving capacity.

For more holding power upgrade to the Stage IV! This is still a streetable clutch, but is more geared toward race duty. You will have less clutch slip than with the Stage III.

Note: While the stock dual mass system is not good performance wise, it does serve to eliminate some noise and chatter at idle. Removing the extra weight will leave the engine much more free to rev up quickly but while idling with the clutch disengaged you will experience noise. Once the clutch is depressed or the vehicle is moving the sound will go away.
This clutch kit does NOT include a new slave cylinder. You should purchase a new slave cylinder when installing a new clutch.
