This is an Mopar 58 psi fuel regulator that attaches onto the end of the fuel pump, and on the outside of the fuel tank. This is the OEM regulator that came on 2001-2005 2.0 Neons and 2003-2005 Dodge SRT-4's.

95-00 Neons came with a 48 psi fuel pressure regulator, so, for 95-00 Neon owners who are doing a 2.4 swap, this fuel regulator will allow you to increase the fuel pressure to use with your stock neon injectors. OR, if you already have injectors, but still need more fuel, this will increase the fuel going to your motor.

If your Neon/SRT-4 is difficult to start after it sits for a while, it could be the check valve failing in the regulator. Once it starts to fail, the fuel pressure drops, and the fuel pump has to build up pressure for the engine to start. If you are having this problem, then its probably wise to replace the fuel pressure regulator.

For those of you 1995-1999 Neon owners that are considering this, if YOU HAVE NOT done hardcore engine work such as cams, head porting, pistons, or turbo kit, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS. This is OVERKILL for minor bolt on Neons.

NOTE: This part will NOT fit on the 95-96 Neons with the steel tank!

Mopar has discontinued this part and there are no more left in Mopar inventory, however we have a limited stock of these left. Hurry up and buy one while these Mopar, OEM ones are still available.
